When we create payroll elements of different classifications from application UI, we fill up questionnaire based on the classification type of element we are creating.
Based on the data filled in questionnaire application automatically creates supporting elements in addition to the element we create, application also creates Fast Formulas mapped at Status Processing Rule section of element, which can further be manipulated to meed business need.
If we have to create huge number of elements (~200 and above) through UI, and later migrate it to different environments, it will be time and effort taking activity.
This HDL will have specific set of questionnaire for each element classification, same can be filled and loaded to system, application will be creating element is same manner how it create through UI.
With this template approach the following objects get auto generated
Auto generates the standard input values
Earning - Auto creates retro elements and Status processing Fast Formula with input values mapping.
Deduction - Auto creates Deduction calculator, Result element and Retro element and Status processing Fast Formula with input values mapping.
Auto generates fast formula for the Earning or deduction logic.
Auto generates balance definitions and the element feeds linked to the Balance definition
